so my birthday was yesterday and I know many people like to throw a big whole party for there birthday but that is not the case for me on my special day. I went to old age home. the food was from our side so I helped with serving the food and even sat with them for some time. old age people there have many things to say but they don't have anyone to listen to there talks and story. many people talked to me , told me small stories , gave me wishes for my journey ahead in life. we begin our evening with prayers and puja after which they even sang me birthday song which was so
heartfull. then we set a ice cream stall for everyone but the employ forgot ice cream spoons and I was furious cause how can you even eat without a spoon but that was not the case with the old people there they were just thankful and had gratitude for the ice cream and showed no remorse of the situation. they told us its not a big deal and mostly people just eat with there hand. nah that's not dirty it is the way of life , concluding me to the moral that we should not take small things to our heart and move on with our life and have gratitude for what we have (the ice cream) and to stop looking at lacking things (the spoon).
