AIDS campaigns are therefore important assets in creating awareness on the disease and measures for preventing its spread. These campaigns are intended to spread awareness regarding effects and hazards of HIV AIDS and persuade people to avoid getting infected. Through creation of awareness and educating the public about ways this disease can be contracted, signs and symptoms as well as treatment this campaigns assist in eradicating myths and prejudices about the disease. Furthermore, AIDS campaigns need to display resources where one can go to check on the assorted possibilities and acquire support services so as to maintain one’s health.
This paper discusses safe behavior’s importance and prevention of HIV as one of the primary objectives of AIDS campaigns. These campaigns have the goal of helping people make the sufficient choices as to their sexual activity and to safeguard themselves and their partners. Through advocating for frequent HIV testing, the promotion of condoms and other forms of protection, these campaigns are very useful in reducing incidences of other new infections within the general populace.
To bring awareness I also joined the awareness campaign/ rail, run by official government hospitals of India called civil hospitals, getting people to know more and more about AIDS and ways to prevent it was our main motive behind the rail.
