Heartstopper

Alice Oseman’s Heartstopper has recently become my beloved book, as I encountered it completely by chance, but it was still amazing. This graphic novel narrates a sweet and lovely story of Charlie and Nick two young boys in a high school who become friends with benefits. The characters themselves are very real, and what with the coming out and with growing into oneself – it is authentic and heartfelt.

What really got my attention with “Heartstopper” is that Alice Oseman deals with some really important topics like mental health, identity and one’s sexuality while being very careful and detailed with it. It is vitally important and never dull to see the rest of the movie explore the realistic problems of Charlie and Nick, their strength and interactions. Using Oseman’s works, it is possibly to describe the plot as being both, captivating and emotional.

In all, I believe anyone who would love to read a beautiful story and also engage their mind, should read the “Heartstopper.” The characters are very charming, the bonds visualized by the author are true and honest, and finally, the issues discussed are rather valuable and actual. This story aims directly at the hearts of the readers and I am sure this graphic novel should be recommended for everybody who is seeking for the great love story, friendship and desire to follow your own dreams.
